As a parent or guardian, your involvement plays a vital role in your child's enjoyment and development at the club. Here are some key responsibilities and reminders:
Transport: Parents are responsible for arranging transport to and from training and matches. Carpooling with other families is often helpful.
Punctuality: Please ensure your child arrives on time for all sessions and games.
Gear: Make sure your child brings the correct gear, jersey, boots, shin guards, water bottle, etc to every session.
Referee Fees: In some cases, small referee fee contributions may be requested. These will be communicated clearly by the coach or manager.
Attendance & Communication: If your child can't attend a session or game, please notify the manager or coach in advance. Staying in touch helps with planning and ensures fairness for all players.
Support & Respect: Encourage your child, respect the coaches and referees, and help foster a positive, team-first attitude both on and off the pitch.
Club Involvement: Parents are welcome to volunteer or attend committee meetings to support club activities and decision making.
Safeguarding & Welfare: If you ever have concerns especially if you suspect bullying or inappropriate behavior please report it immediately to the club’s designated safeguarding officer or a trusted member of management. We take all reports seriously and follow proper child welfare protocols.
Your support and communication are crucial in helping us create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for every player.
Whether you're a child, teenager, or adult, being part of our club means representing your team with respect, commitment, and a positive attitude. Here are some important things to keep in mind:
Respect Your Teammates and Coaches: Always show respect to your teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents—both on and off the pitch. We play as a team and support each other.
Be On Time: Arrive on time for training sessions, warm-ups, and games. If you’re going to be late or can’t make it, let your coach or manager know in advance.
Bring the Right Gear: Make sure you have the correct gear—jersey, boots, shin guards, water bottle, and anything else your coach asks for.
Stay Committed: Attend training regularly and give your best effort. Being consistent helps both your development and your team's success.
Listen and Learn: Follow instructions from coaches, and always be open to learning and improving. Everyone has room to grow, no matter their age or skill level.
Practice Good Sportsmanship: Win or lose, shake hands, stay humble, and support your team. Respect for the game is just as important as how you play.
Take Care of Yourself: Stay healthy, eat well, and speak up if you’re injured or not feeling well. Mental and physical wellbeing are a priority.
Speak Up About Problems: If you’re having any issues—such as feeling left out, being bullied, or not enjoying the experience—talk to your coach, a parent, or the club’s safeguarding officer. You have the right to feel safe and supported at all times.
Being a part of this club means more than just playing soccer—it's about teamwork, responsibility, and growing together. Let’s make it a great experience for everyone!
